Principle and Structure

The ideal way to ground your high end equipment.

Even when proper grounding has been applied to a system, it is difficult to get an optimum result result due to low ground resistance. This could lead to a countercurrent of noise and radio signal entering the equipment. There is also the chance that ground loops and ham radio noise will affect the audio signal. The RGC-24 balances chassis current potential and eliminates electric field interference by means of its virtual ground environment. This stabilizes the circuit, improving the sound.

Inside the RGC-24 is a blend of natural minerals with negative current potential. Positive current potential and field noise from the equipment travels through the attached cable and into the RGC-24. Even in an environment where ground has already been properly established, sound quality can be improved by using the RGC-24.

The attached cable uses the same structure as ACOUSTIC REVIVE's highest grade single core cables. The inner conductor is a 2.6mm x 2.2mm oval shaped PCOCC-A solid core with natural silk insulation, flexible Teflon coated copper conduit and carbon paper SF tube (CSP) for superior conductivity, powerful shielding and excellent sound quality.

A high-grade rhodium plated banana plug (RBN-1) is used going into the RGC and a gold plated spade lug is used for perfect conductivity going to the equipment.

If no ground terminal is available, connection via an RCA connector is possible

The supplied IP-2RGC-24 adapter has a threaded connection to accept the spade lug. The RCA type adaptor can then connect to an input terminal on your equipment.

Effect

By stabilizing the circuit using the RGC-24, S/N ratio and sound quality is vastly improved. There is a noticeable absence of blur yielding a powerfully expanded 3 dimensional sound stage and vastly improved dynamic range.

Measurement proves the effect of the RGC-24

Radiation Technology's electric field strength meter, ELF-100E, was used to measure the strength of the electric field. The amount will vary depending on the equipment being measured, but there is a definite decrease in electric field strength when using the RGC-24. The system in this photograph, was measured 900V/m  before connecting RGC-24 and at 750V/m after.


The RGC-24 has a beneficial effect even where high quality grounding has already been done. Also, it never generates ground loops even when using 2 or more RGC-24s in a system.The more you use, the more the sound improves!
