The Absolute Sound Doubles Down on Best of Show Status for the Lotus Group/Axiss Audio Room at T.H.E.Show Newport
Julie Mullens granted us Best of Show Status in a tie with our good friend Jeffrey Catalano's High Water Sound Room - a Double Honor. Congratulations Jeffrey!
"Immersive, visceral listening."
"Percussion was rendered with quick transient attacks and the bass was so solid you could almost sit on it. The speakers showed no signs of compression even at the party-level SPLs with 102dB peaks. Immersive, visceral listening."
"I'd heard Accuphase electronics driving this speaker model at this year's CES, but it sure didn't sound like this!"
Please allow me to speculate that what may have made the difference this time was PranaWire cabling. We bi-wired the Gauder Akustik Berlina RC-7 MKII Speaker with our dual pure silver ribbon 6 gauge Arhat Speaker Cable on top and our dual pure silver ribbon 2 gauge Arhat Speaker Cable on the bottom, had two PranaWire Linebacker XE In-line Passive Power Conditioners plus Avatar and Arhat interconnects and Cosmos and Arhat Power Cables throughout.

"...dynamic, deep reaching, superbly defined, and seamlessly neutral and transparent enough to make everything from Peter, Paul & Mary to the Talking Heads to El Vy sound uncannily “there.”

"Beverly Sills sang the famed aria from Korngold's Die Tote Stadt at high volume, but her top notes sounded so amazingly gorgeous, pure and warm that the experience was heavenly."

"Every instrument and voice I heard had plenty of space around it and seemed to defy any other instruments or voices to come near the other in 3D space.
If you like rendition, resolution and focus, check this combo out.
If you like your system to kick ass, check them out too."
